Status Effects
Overview
Status effects are temporary conditions applied to players and enemies during combat. Enchantment-based effects are triggered by hitting a target with an enchanted weapon from the Blacksmithing system. One status effect - Dazed - is applied through base combat mechanics without any enchantment required.
☠️Status Effects (6)
Continuous damage over time applied by Fire Enchantment hits. The burning effect drains the target's health each tick for the duration of the effect.
Poison damage over time applied by Poison Enchantment hits. Functions similarly to Burning but uses poison damage type - relevant for resistances and interactions.
Movement speed reduction applied by Ice Enchantment hits. Repeated hits may escalate to a full Frozen state, further restricting movement.
Brief paralysis window applied by Lightning Enchantment hits. The stun does not trigger on every hit - probability details are not yet confirmed.
Nullifies the target's God Fruit abilities for a brief window on hit. Applied by Sea Stone Enchantment. Extremely powerful in PvP - directly counters God Fruit users by disabling their powers.
Brief stagger state triggered by a block break. The final M1 in any combo chain is always a block breaker - no enchantment required. While dazed, the player cannot block incoming attacks.
