The Dexes system comprises four specialized tracking features for different gameplay elements.

Columns Tracked

Location

Shows the place or event found by the player.

Temperature

Shows the temperature of the place or event that the player has experienced.

Quality of life

Shows the chances of survival for the player.

Knowledge

Unknown.

Progression Value

Completing a dex is one of the primary ways to reach 500 talent points in its linked activity. The dexes reward thoroughness - visiting every location, catching every fish species, and crafting with every material type all contribute to completion.
