How the calculator rates a trade
Each side is the sum of its items, using the values on the RELL Seas Trading Values list. If both sides are within 10% of each other the trade is Fair. If you get more, it is a Win, and if you give more, it is a Loss. When a trade is off, the calculator suggests items that would close the gap.
A trade is only rated when every item in it has a value. Until RELL Seas releases and real trades can be tracked, values are not confirmed yet, so the calculator shows which items are missing a value instead of a guess.
Frequently asked questions
How does the RELL Seas Trade Calculator work?
It adds up the value of each side using the RELL Seas Trading Values list and compares the totals. A difference within 10% is fair, more is a win, less is a loss.
Why does it say a trade can not be rated?
At least one item in the trade has no value yet. RELL Seas has not released, so values are not confirmed yet, and the calculator does not guess.
Can I share a trade?
Yes. The page link updates as you add items. Copy it and send it to the other player so both of you see the same trade.
Is value the only thing that matters in a trade?
No. Demand changes how easy an item is to trade on. A high demand item can be worth taking at a small value loss, and the values list shows demand next to each item.
How do I trade with other players in RELL Seas?
Pre-release material shows the Traders' Bag, which places an item with a price tag in the world for other players to buy. The final trading rules for release are not confirmed yet.
