Overview
Wood is gathered through the Woodcutting talent - equip the Wood Cutting Axe from your Utility Tool and chop trees found across islands. It is one of the first materials players will collect, used for basic ship parts, furniture placement on ships, and fuel for cooking.

Trees are found abundantly on all islands. Equip the Wood Cutting Axe from your Utility Tool and strike trees to collect wood. Higher woodcutting talent tiers yield more wood per tree.

Wood is the base material for all ship parts. Ships start wooden and can be upgraded to iron or other materials later.
Crafted / Used For
Basic crafting ingredient for early-game items. Used in constructing furniture for ships.
